Any day is a good day for crispy fried chicken, and this recipe couldn’t be easier.
Set up your Weber charcoal for indirect cooking (coals in the centre) and pre-heat to 300ºC

🍴 Ingredients
2 cups plain flour
1 cup Rum & Que Dirty Bird Fried Chicken Seasoning
Salt and pepper


👨‍🍳 Method
👉 Combine dry ingredients and divide into two bowls
👉 Slowly add water to one bowl of dry ingredients, whisking until it forms a smooth batter.
👉 Pat dry your choice of chicken cut and dip into the wet batter, followed by the dry.
👉 Place coated chicken on the outside of the Weber grill, in the indirect cooking zone, and cook for 30 minutes with the lid on.
👉 After 30 minutes, brush the chicken with oil, close lid and continue to cook until the chickens internal temperature reaches 71ºC

Best served with a cold brew
